Our Story

At Guidry Organic Farms, our roots run deep in Louisiana soil. What started with a dream over a decade ago has grown into more than 240 acres in Sunset, LA — where we raise grass-fed, grass-finished cattle, care for pasture-raised chickens, and harvest pecans that are transformed into wholesome, organic products enjoyed nationwide.

Innovation on the Farm

At Guidry Organic Farms, tradition meets innovation. To care for our flock, Mark Guidry designed a first-of-its-kind solar-powered, self-driving chicken trailer. Equipped with an automatic rainwater collector, auto-feeder, and self-moving system, it allows our 300+ chickens to safely graze fresh pasture daily while staying protected from predators. This invention has been featured in the news as a pioneering step toward sustainable farming.

Yes. Our honey is bottled without heat or heavy processing, so it keeps its natural enzymes, flavor, and nutrients intact.

No! Raw honey has a naturally long shelf life. If it crystallizes, that’s normal — simply warm the jar gently in warm water to return it to liquid.
